Key responsibilities:

1. Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting while applying innovative thinking to solve complex problems beyond conventional approaches.
2. Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms optimized for synchronous system performance.
3. Create architecture and design documentation for complex applications, ensuring that software code aligns with design and performance constraints.
4. Gather, analyze, and synthesize large and diverse data sets to produce visualizations and reports supporting continuous software and system improvements.
5. Proactively identify hidden issues and data patterns, leveraging insights to enhance code quality and system architecture.

Other Requirements:

1. Hold formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 3 years of applied experience.

2. Possess hands-on experience in Database Administration and Engineering.

3. Demonstrate expertise in database performance tuning, monitoring tools, and backup and recovery procedures.

4. Understand productivity factors and their impact on overall database performance.

5. Have experience as a cloud DBA in designing, implementing, and supporting highly available and scalable cloud database solutions.

6. Implement data models, database designs, and table maintenance codes while maintaining high availability through partitioning and replication.

7. Resolve issues related to database performance, capacity, replication, and data integrity.

8. Collaborate with architects and designers to select appropriate databases and implement physical data models.

9. Develop and execute database performance monitoring processes and identify optimization opportunities.

10. Possess a solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.

11. Demonstrate working knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas like cloud, AI, ML, or mobile technologies.
