Software Engineer III, Google Cloud

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Security or Data Governance.
• Experience with Cloud or Software as a Service (SaaS) products.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical projects and make technical contributions.
• Design and implement features/components to support data sharing and secure/low-trust (e.g., clean room) capabilities.
• Coordinate and drive improvements in BigQuery engineering and operational excellence.
• Design and implement tests and experiments to evaluate and monitor the performance of the system.
• Interact and interface with Product Manager/Technical Program Manager (PM/TPM) for project planning and execution. Work across boundaries in a distributed team setup to deliver on organizational goals. Use the full battery of tools and instrumentation to develop, test and rollout features. Work with customers to help find solutions to their blocking issues.
