About the Team
The Omni Channel Platform Customer Promise Team is responsible for Inventory and Sourcing accuracy across all of the omnichannel shopping funnel flows. Job Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is to translate business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs and to deliver code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions. This includes developing, configuring, or modifying complex integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments. This role facilitates the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities:
Building resource efficient, scalable, and resilient Microservices and APIs using Java/Spring Webflux.
Databases: Building optimal database persistence solutions using right database technologies (ex, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, KAFKA etc)
Translates business requirements and specifications into logical program designs, code modules, stable application systems, and software solutions with occasional guidance from senior colleagues; partners with Product Team to understand business needs and functional specifications
Develops, configures, or modifies integrated business and/or enterprise application solutions within various computing environments by designing and coding component-based applications using various programming languages
Conducts root cause analysis of issues; reviews new and existing code
Implements continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes to ensure quality and efficiency in the development cycle using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Gradle, Spinnaker, JFrog, etc.
Ideates, builds, and publishes reusable libraries to improve productivity across teams
Conducts the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications
Solves difficult technical problems; solutions are testable, maintainable, and efficient

Required Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
3 years of experience in software development or a related field
3 years of experience in database technologies
3 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles(SDLC
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field
3 years of IT experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization
3 years of experience working with defect or incident tracking software
3 years of experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment
3 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
3 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
3 years of experience working with source code control systems
Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools
3 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions.
Skill Set Required
Primary Skills (must have)
Proficient in Kotlin/Java 11 or later versions.
Strong understanding of Java syntax, semantics, and best practices.
Familiarity with Java frameworks and libraries (e.g., Spring, Springboot, Hibernate).
Experience with RESTful API design and development.
Knowledge of API security (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
Hibernate or other ORM frameworks.
Unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, TestNG).
Secondary Skills (desired)
Apache Kafka or other messaging systems.
Experience in systems analysis and high-level solution design.
Exposure to ITIL frameworks and technical documentation in a software development environment.
