Overview
We are looking for a seasoned and motivated Senior Team Lead - Quality Analyst with expertise in automation testing to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will lead and guide the testing efforts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. - Lead and mentor a team of quality analysts, providing guidance on testing best practices and automation strategies.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure effective test coverage
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects and ensure functionality meets specifications
- Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of test activities throughout the software development lifecycle
- Continuously improve and optimize test processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and collaborate with development teams to facilitate timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5-8+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on automation testing
- Proven experience leading and mentoring QA teams.
- Strong proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous testing practices
- Knowledge of API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman or REST Assured
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- ISTQB or similar certification
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Previous experience in an Agile/Scrum environment
