Assist in the installation, basic configuration, and patching of MySQL instances.
Assist in the installation, basic configuration, and patching of MySQL instances.
Perform routine database maintenance tasks, including index optimization and table defragmentation (OPTIMIZE TABLE).
Execute minor version upgrades and engine maintenance for AWS RDS instances.
Performance Monitoring & Optimization
Monitor core database metrics (CPU, Memory, Connections, and I/O) to ensure high availability and scalability.

Identify slow-running queries using the Slow Query Log and provide initial analysis to developers for tuning.
Track storage growth and manage disk space to prevent ""Disk Full"" incidents in both on-premise and AWS environments.
Backup, Recovery & Replication
Verify the success of daily backups (using mysqldump, mysqlpump, or Percona XtraBackup) and perform routine restore tests.

Monitor MySQL replication lag and status (SHOW REPLICA STATUS) to ensure data consistency across clusters.

Manage user accounts, grants, and password policies to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.

Setup Oracle golden gate both uni-directional and bidirectional.
Maintain Oracle Golden Gate synchronization with source.
Identify the Oracle Golden Gate sync related issues and implement the best practices.
Identify the performance issues and implement the best practices.
User creation and access management.
Storage capacity planning to ensure ASM and tablespace were maintained under threshold and avoided repetitive space related incidents.
Create and maintain RAC with Data guard.
