Cisco's Enterprise Routing is multi-billion dollar growing business that generates its revenue primarily in the Mid-Range routing market space (Edge and Access Routing). The Portfolio of this team includes SDWAN, SASE, Branch Security, Application Aware Routing, Centralized Policy, Cloud Controllers, Cloud Networking, COLO, SaaS Gateway, Cloud onramp and other next generation technology for WAN Infra. Cisco's Enterprise Routing has Platforms from Low End branches to High End Data Centres and Cloud Router to Extend Enterprise Network.
Your Impact
We are seeking an experienced G8 Software UI Engineer with deep expertise in React, Angular and Python to lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications. As a senior Engineer, you will drive architecture decisions, mentor teams, and ensure the delivery of top-tier user experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, influencing best practices and contributing to long-term technology strategies. Architect and develop highly scalable, responsive and Micro Front End UI applications . Provide technical leadership in UI/UX design, frontend frameworks, and backend integration. Optimize frontend and backend performance for scalability, security, and high availability. Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to ensure a seamless user experience. Lead and participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architectural discussions.
Who You Are
We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated, bold, bright and empathetic Software UI Developer to join Enterprise Routing/SDWAN Technical UI Team. Be a part of Cisco's journey of Intent Based Networking, transforming the way people connect with technology. Independently able to execute given functionality or features. Team is responsible to build and constantly enhance end-to-end Solution Automation Framework for next generation SDWAN solutions, which include SASE, SaaS gateway, branch security, COLO, Application QoE, Application Aware Routing. Responsibility will also be to build solution on multi-cloud (AWS, GSP, Azure etc) environment, Cloud controllers, Application Analytics, REST Infra, follow CI/CD practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Architect and develop highly scalable, responsive UI applications using React (v18+) and Angular (v14+)
- 8+ years of experience in UI development with strong expertise in React and Angular
- Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3
- Knowledge of Building Micro Front End Applications
- Deep knowledge of Python backend frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI) and API design.
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets for efficient communication.
- Expertise in state management (NgRx, Redux, Zustand) and microfrontend architecture.
- Strong understanding of UI performance optimization, caching strategies, and accessibility
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for UI deployment.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code .
- Experience leading large-scale UI projects, making architectural decisions, and mentoring teams.
