As a Software QA Engineer, you will develop independence in test planning and execution, contribute to automation, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality across features.

This is a hybrid position in Pune, India. You will report to Senior Manager, SQA.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to test plan creation and maintenance; ensure coverage for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Execute test cases, validate results, and report progress; prepare defect reports and test summaries.
• Analyze requirements and clarify scope with stakeholders; apply risk-based thinking to prioritize tests.
• Troubleshoot typical technical problems using checklists and diagnostic guides; escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Add basic automation scripts for common scenarios; consult senior engineers for advanced cases.
• Build understanding of Fusion workflows and underlying technologies; apply this knowledge to test design.
• Support risk evaluation for stories and defects; help review and prioritize defects in the team backlog.
• Actively participate in scrum ceremonies and cross-functional discussions.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of professional experience in software QA or development.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices (scrum, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python or similar).
• Familiarity with CAD concepts and willingness to learn quickly.
  
  

• Experience with Fusion or similar CAD/CAM platforms.
• Exposure to automation and CI/CD pipelines.
