The Cohesity Flex Appliance is an enterprise data protection services, both on-prem and in the cloud. Rather than relying on complex and costly data protection environments consisting of many converged or single function backup, data deduplication, cloud tiering and storage silos spread across the enterprise— the Cohesity Flex Appliance is a single, highly available and scalable solution that utilizes microservices to deliver enterprise-wide Information Defined data protection services on-demand.

As an Automation Engineer, you will be an individual contributor focused on showcasing the value of Cohesity’s products/solutions in Pune region. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of professional experience working as part of a QA organization primarily on automation, test planning and hands on knowledge of Python/Shell Scripting. The candidate should be self-motivated and passionate about quality. They will have a sustained and demonstrable track record of delivering high-quality solutions on-time and with high usability and performance. The candidate must demonstrate a strong technical competency in an environment that values accountability, quality, commitment, and innovation.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

• Responsible for the overall automation strategy, tools and technologies selection for the product test automation - includes unit/component/feature test automation.
• Consistent maintainable automation & automation subsystem
• Ready to do manual Test case execution as well as Automation
• Work with agile teams to provide sizing and effort estimates.
  
  

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

• Hands-on experience with Python
• Exposure to Pytest, Pycharm would be a plus
• Virtualization/Storage/Networking domain expertise (V-sphere, esxi, HyperV) is a MUST
