Job Description

Responsibility & Key Result Areas

• Must be an experienced developer, with strong Java, Spring Framework, with experience in one or more data stores (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis,etc) and messaging queues
• Implements the detailed design for Micro services in a standard and efficient way
• Unit tests the components developed and reviews other’s implementation
• Be able to proactively identify, analyze and resolve complex issues earlier in the development cycle
• Manages technical communication with architects
• Supports in project estimation, planning and risk management activities
• Supports the verification and validation team by resolving the issues / defects in a timely manner
  
  

Role Competency & Personal Characteristics

• 5+ years of experience in Software development life cycle as a backend developer
• Proven experience building cloud native systems and architectures (microservices, REST, event driven services)
• Solid experience in Java, Java, Spring Framework, Node. js and MicroService design and development
• Good knowledge working with API Integration, and Restful Services
• Experience in working with datastores like DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis,etc
• Exposure to cloud deployment models and tools (dockers, Kubernetes etc.)
• Good understanding and Exposure to AWS cloud platform would be a plus
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
• Strong desire to learn and work across technology stacks
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists
• Self-motivated individual with good organizational and time management skills
  
  

How We Work Together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
