Job Title: QA Engineer

You will be instrumental in verifying the functionality, reliability, and scalability of our software through a combination of manual and automated testing techniques. You will be instrumental in verifying the functionality, reliability, and scalability of our software through a combination of manual and automated testing techniques. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute significantly to our product development lifecycle within an agile environment.
Requirements
- Should have 2-3 years of experience.
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive manual test plans and test cases based on functional requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
- Thoroughly test software releases by executing test cases and identifying defects.
- Accurately document and track defects using our bug tracking system (e.g., Jira).
- Perform regression testing to confirm that resolved defects do not re-emerge and that new features haven't introduced regressions.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback on software quality.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Design, develop, and execute API tests using Postman to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our backend services.
- Contribute to the automation of API tests to ensure continuous quality.
- Build and enhance UI automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and methodologies and recommend improvements to our testing processes
