About The Team

This position is for Loan Origination Technology team under Lending Technology. Team would be focusing on developing, maintaining applications responsible for Loan Origination which includes systems like Lending Innovation and other home grown applications developed using React, AWS, .NET, Java and also should be able to perform Quality Engineering on Vendor Products, Custom Tools etc.

Impact (Job Summary/Why This Role Matters)

Improving the quality and reliability of banking products, accelerating development cycles, and delivering potentially working functionality to the end user. Ensuring SDLC process alignment and meeting business objectives.

Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)

  • Responsible for Functional testing & Integration testing execution and in sprint automation testing and preparing regression cases for upcoming sprints.
  • Collaboration with product owners for story pointing and test case design.
  • Test execution creation in defect tracking tool and test case execution.
  • Defect tracking and reporting.
  • Team collaboration and upskilling.

Skills and Qualification (Functional and Technical Skills)

Functional Skills

  • Should have at least 5-6 years of experience.
  • Should have at least 2-3 years of experience in Manual Testing
  • Should have good knowledge on Automation tools.
  • HP-ALM, Jira x-ray, or any defect tracking tool.
  • Strong exposure in SDLC process, Testing Methodologies and Agile
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and ability to design and execute effective test cases.
  • Ability to possess as an individual contributor and team player.
  • Wiliness to learn new technologies.
  • Good to have banking domain knowledge.

Technical Skills

  • Core Java, Python
  • Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber
  • Version Control - Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab
  • Database - Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Jenkins,
  • CRM Solutions: Salesforce lightening and Classic
  • Ready API/SOAP UI PRO

Relationships & Collaboration

Collaboration with the team members who in some cases might be spread across geographies which includes developers, scrum masters, system analysts and Quality Engineering team members. Having the ability to switch and work with different team leaders and demonstrate release functionality to a louder audience during demos. Providing daily status reports to respective stakeholders.
