Job Description – Software Tester
Company: Sudhanand Business Solution Pvt. Ltd. (An entity of Sudhanand Group)
Location: Mysore, Karnataka (On-site)
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Preferably: Mysore base candidate
Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of manual testing, basic proficiency in automation frameworks, and experience in Python, SQL, and API testing. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of web and software applications to identify defects and ensure quality standards.
- Design and execute test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Use defect tracking tools to log, monitor, and close bugs.
- Write automation test scripts using Python and Selenium (hybrid framework) as needed.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams in Agile development environments.
- Conduct API testing using tools and scripts (Postman, Python, etc.).
- Analyze test results and prepare clear and concise test reports.
- Participate in daily scrums, sprint planning, and review meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Manual Testing.
- Proficiency in Python for automation testing.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with Selenium and test automation frameworks (preferably hybrid).
- Working experience in Agile methodologies and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Knowledge of API testing is an added advantage.
- Good communication skills, team collaboration, and attention to detail.
