Software Tester

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quality Tester with hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications by executing test cases, identifying bugs, and supporting the QA process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual and/or automated test cases based on project requirements.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools like JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to understand project requirements and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, integration testing and debugging skills.
• Participate in test plan and test case design reviews.
• Ensure software meets quality standards and project specifications before release.
• Provide clear and concise feedback and status updates on test progress.
• Knowledge of API testing, mobile application testing, or cross-browser testing.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools in a fast-paced development environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., JIRA, Selenium, TestLink) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of databases and writing SQL queries.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
