Software Tester

Overview

We are looking for a motivated QA Tester with 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to ensure our software meets high standards of functionality, usability, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Conduct manual testing to identify bugs, defects, and issues within the software.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and UI testing to ensure the software meets quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify software requirements and quality benchmarks.
• Execute tests and document results, including test coverage, performance, and bug reports.
• Analyze and diagnose defects to identify root causes and provide recommendations for fixes.
• Ensure software quality by thoroughly testing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by recommending tools, methodologies, and best practices for testing.
• Work in an Agile environment to help deliver high-quality software products on time.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, techniques, and industry trends to improve testing processes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 1 to 2 years of experience as a QA Tester, with a focus on manual testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Python, Java).
• Proficiency in performing various types of testing, such as functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases, bug reports, and documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team to meet testing deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
