Software Tester/QA Tester - Internship

About the internship:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester to evaluate and test web and mobile applications to ensure quality, performance, and usability. The tester will work closely with developers and product teams to identify bugs, improve user experience, and deliver high-quality software products.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Understand business requirements and functional specifications
2. Create, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
3. Perform Manual Testing (Functional, UI, Regression, Smoke Testing)
4. Test Web Applications and Mobile Apps (Android/iOS)
5. Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like Jira/Trello/Bugzilla
6. Validate fixes and perform re-testing
7. Conduct API testing using Postman (basic level)
8. Perform Database testing using SQL (basic queries)
9. Participate in requirement reviews and sprint planning meetings
10. Ensure product quality before releases
11. Prepare test reports and documentation

Stipend:

INR₹ 3,000 - 5,000 /month

Other Requirements:

A. Must-Have:

1. Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC)

2. Knowledge of manual testing concepts

3. Experience in testing web & mobile applications

4. Ability to write clear and effective test cases

5. Understanding of SDLC & Agile methodology

6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills

B. Good to Have:

1. Basic knowledge of automation testing (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright)

2. API testing using Postman

3. Basic SQL knowledge

4. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts

C. Experience & Qualifications:

1. Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers can apply)

2. Education: B.E/B.Tech/MCA/BCA/Any IT-related degree or certification

3. Certifications (Optional): ISTQB, software testing certification
