Exploring the role:

As a Senior Website Developer/Project Manager, you will play a dual role in managing website development projects while contributing hands-on technical expertise. This role requires strong leadership, project management, and development skills to optimize user experience, ensure high performance, and align the website strategy with business objectives.

How your day-to-day responsibilities will look like:

Website Development & Optimization:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize all Rate Gain websites for performance, SEO, and scalability.
• Lead the technical implementation of new features, integrations, and UX/UI enhancements.
• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibilities.
• Work closely with content, SEO, and design teams to improve site structure, load speed, and accessibility.
• Manage website migrations, including domain changes and multi-language support.
  
  

Project Management:

• Manage end-to-end website development projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Digital Marketing, Product Marketing, IT) and external vendors/agencies.
• Define project scope, budgets, timelines, and milestones, providing regular updates and progress reports.
• Implement web development best practices, tools, and processes to ensure a streamlined workflow.
  
  

Analytics & Performance Tracking:

• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, and Search Console.
• Regularly audit the website for technical SEO issues and resolve errors to improve organic traffic.
• Provide data-driven insights for web optimization to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
  
  

Leadership & Strategy:

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Develop and implement a long-term web strategy in alignment with marketing and business goals.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance web capabilities.
  
  

Education & Work Experience :

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• 10-12 years in web development with project management exposure.
  
  

Knowledge Required:

• SaaS/B2B industry experience.
  
  

Skills :

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
• Experience with modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) and CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, Google Tag Manager, and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Experience with website performance tools (e.g., Page Speed Insights).
  
  

Project Management Skills:

• Experience managing website projects using tools Asana.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
