Responsibilities
Application Development Proficient in programming as per the user story and delivers the module prescribed in the requirment.
He is hand on with technical skills necessary for delivering the module.This includes design patterns, application frameworks, UI concepts and intermediate level of database programming in any one platform.
Translate design to code and ability to perform the unit tests on developed modules.
Ability to Performs code reviews for peers and juniors.
Help to define clean coding practices for his lead.
Ability to perform unit testing and quality assurance within accepted error rate for unit delivered.
Devops skills Aware of different techniques and tools available within Devops.
Contribute to the devops team for implementation and execution.
Technology and Upskilling Willingness to scale horizontally and adapt to other peer roles in technological if required by project management.
Collaboration and Communication Working with leads and architects on technical subjects.
To support them in core delivery, and when needed able to experiment and pilot modules or projects.
Problem solving Able to perform root cause analysis, debug and resolve the defects efficiently and at expected speed.
Domain Should know the domain in relation to the project being executed.
Efficiency Own tasks towards overall efficiency goal of the team. That includes optimization cost and time towards development and quality.
Innovation Involved to be lead contributor to topics in his area of strength.
He will be participating in activities leading to transformation of the business through innovative ideas and solution implementation.

Profile required

- Good knowledge of Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, J2EE is mandatory.
- Good knowledge on any RDBMS mandatory and able to debug and write PL/SQL scripts.
- Good knowledge in implementing Spring Technologies (spring core, spring JDBC, Spring JMS, Spring MVC, Spring AOP, Spring Boot).
- Good knowledge of SOLID principles and able to follow best practices of Software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of XML technologies like XSLT, XPath, XSD.
- Good knowledge of JUnit Test cases & Sonar.
- Good knowledge of Application Servers - Tomcat, JBOSS etc.
- Sound knowledge on Unix & Shell Scripting.
- knowledge of Integration software’s like Apache Camel is added advantage.
- Should be able to Implement Enhancements on existing applications. Should be able to debug and fix java Errors & Exceptions. Act on all remediation actions assigned as per timelines defined.
- Knowledge of version control tools like GIT, SVN.
- Basic Awareness of CD/CI concepts & Technologies like Jenkins etc.
- Knowledge on any of Scheduling tools (Autosys, Control-M, etc) is added advantage.
- Good exposure on Monitoring tools.
- Good Understanding of functional domain and business processes.
- Basic understanding of investment banking domain.
- Build expertise on the relevant business process. Analytical skills, Influential skills & out of box thinking
- Strong analytical ability to investigate complex issues
- Focus on upskilling to learn new technologies/ processes.
- Adhere production practices without any anomalies being raised and adhere to company policies.
- Make sure the documents have been maintained in structured manner in centralized place which is accessible for everyone
- Ensure Knowledge base and training material are up to date (Jive, known error database etc.) and contribute towards knowledge sharing.
- Knowledge on ITIL processes on Request fulfilment, Incident management, Problem Management & Change/Release Management.
