Experience To Bring With You

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Exceptional candidates without formal education, but with the skills to rival even the most educated, are encouraged to apply.

• Experience in backend distributed server-side development within a cloud-native stack is formidable.
• Building frameworks for consumption is your secret weapon!.
• 15+ years of software development experience, battling with products and/or SaaS services.
• Your knowledge of data structures and algorithms is legendary!.
• 5+ years of software design and architecture experience, you have the wisdom to make sound technical decisions and trade-offs.
• You're like the Gandalf of coding!.
• Experience in complex, matrixed organizations has prepared you for the challenges of working across teams and projects.

Technical Expertise

• Cloud-Native Development : Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying backend distributed server-side applications within a cloud-native stack (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Core Programming Languages : Strong proficiency in one or more modern backend programming languages suitable for high-scale, distributed systems (e.g., Java, Go, Python, Node.js, C++).
• Distributed Systems Architecture : Deep understanding and practical experience in designing and implementing highly scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant distributed systems, including microservices architecture.
• Data Structures & Algorithms : Legendary knowledge and practical application of advanced data structures and algorithms to solve complex engineering challenges.
• Software Design & Architecture : Proven ability in software design and architecture, making sound technical decisions, defining technical trade-offs, and building robust, extensible frameworks for consumption.
• API Design : Expertise in designing, developing, and managing APIs, adhering to best practices for an "API-first" approach (e.g., RESTful APIs, gRPC, event-driven architectures).
• Containerization & Orchestration : Strong experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Messaging & Event Streaming : Experience with asynchronous communication patterns and message brokers/streaming platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus).
• Database Technologies : Proficiency with various database systems, including relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis), and understanding of data modeling for distributed environments.
• DevOps & CI/CD : Solid understanding and experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions), infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), and version control systems (Git).
• Observability : Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to ensure system health and performance.
