Overview
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures for data manipulation and reporting.
- Design and implement database schemas that support business requirements.
- Optimize SQL queries for improved performance and efficiency.
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend solutions to enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and validations.
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide technical support to users as needed.
- Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role in database management.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries and procedures.
- Familiarity with database management systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with data modeling and database design principles.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Ability to analyze data and provide insightful recommendations based on findings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
