Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented SQL Developer with Python expertise to join our data engineering or analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, developing stored procedures, and using Python to automate data workflows, support analytics, and build data-driven applications. This role bridges database development with scripting and automation to optimize data pipelines and deliver actionable insights.
Responsibilities: Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
Requirements: - Develop Python scripts for data manipulation, transformation, and automation tasks.
- Integrate SQL databases with Python-based data pipelines and tools.
- Work with cross-functional teams to support data reporting, analytics, and business intelligence.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance of datasets.
- Support ETL processes and data migration efforts as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data structures, queries, and scripts.
5+ years of experience in SQL development with strong proficiency in T-SQL, PL/SQL, or MySQL/PostgreSQL dialects.
- Strong Python programming skills, especially in data handling (e.g., Pandas, SQLAlchemy, PyODBC).
- Experience in building and optimizing data pipelines and working with relational databases.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Knowledge of data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
