About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SDE-3) with a platform engineering mindset—someone who can bridge development and operations to build scalable, secure, and reusable infrastructure. This is not a traditional DevOps role. We're looking for an engineer with deep software development expertise and a passion for creating internal tools and platforms that accelerate teams and enhance reliability.

Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure as Code

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Develop multi-cloud strategies, zero trust networking, and intelligent traffic routing mechanisms.

Developer Platforms & Tools

• Build internal frameworks and services (e.g., configuration management, vulnerability scanning, search services).
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and container management platforms.

Reliability at Scale (SRE)

• Implement SRE practices including SLOs/SLIs, FinOps cost optimization, and cloud security.
• Build observability into platforms using OpenTelemetry, Loki, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong engineering background, with proficiency in Go and/or Java.
• Experience with cloud-native development (AWS or GCP), including APIs, SDKs, and Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Proven ability to build internal platforms/tools, beyond just infrastructure management.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems.
• Strong experience in API design and development.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities; proactive and self-driven.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
