What You’ll Be Doing:

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex data solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Architect and implement high-performance data pipelines and data warehousing solutions that support critical business functions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to translate business needs into technical data solutions.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best coding practices.
• Mentor and coach junior data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
• Identify and implement improvements to the data engineering lifecycle, including automation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues, working to ensure high availability and reliability of data services.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve data engineering processes and team productivity.
• Drive the technical vision for data projects, contributing to architectural discussions and long-term planning.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable data solutions.
• Expertise in database design and optimization for both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Python, SQL, or Java, and familiarity with their ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of data architecture patterns, such as data warehousing, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Redshift) and cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex data issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions, present to stakeholders, and write detailed documentation
  
  
  

Mandatory Requirements:

Employees must have a high-speed broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 50 Mbps and the ability to set up a wired connection to their home network to ensure effective remote work. These requirements may be updated as needed by the business.
