Job Specification:
Java Developer with Microservices, MFA, and DevOps Expertise
Position: Java Developer
Experience Level: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

 Java Development:
o Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing Java applications using modern frameworks like Spring Boot.
o Write clean, eƯicient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices.

 Microservices Architecture:
o Design and implement microservices-based solutions with a focus on scalability and reliability.
o Integrate microservices with external APIs and data sources.
o Implement service orchestration and inter-service communication using REST or message brokers.

 MFA Implementation:
o Integrate Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) into applications using solutions like Ping, Daon, Okta, Auth0, or custom-built frameworks.
o Collaborate with security teams to ensure seamless and secure authentication processes.

 DevOps & Automation:
o Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
o Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
o Automate deployment processes and monitor application environments for performance and reliability.

 Collaboration & Agile Practices:
o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists, to deliver high-quality solutions.
o Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Skills and Qualifications

 Technical Expertise:
o Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.).
o Strong understanding of Microservices architecture and best practices.
o Experience implementing and managing MFA solutions such as Okta, Auth0, or Duo Security.
o Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
o Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible).
o Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

 Soft Skills:
o Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
o Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.

 Educational Background:
o Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
