Sr. Java Developer

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java & AWS Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy robust Java applications in an AWS cloud environment. The ideal candidate is a seasoned developer with deep expertise in Java and extensive hands-on experience with AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Java Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Utilize frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate to build scalable microservices.
• Implement clean coding practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure optimal performance.
• AWS Cloud Operations:
• Architect, deploy, and manage applications on AWS.
• Work with core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.) to optimize cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and deliver robust solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring high availability and performance.
• Advocate best practices in both software development and cloud deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Extensive professional experience in Java development (5+ years preferred).
• Strong proficiency with Java SE/EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful API development.
• Deep understanding of AWS services, cloud architecture, and best practices.
• Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes is a plus).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified Developer or AWS Solutions Architect).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., AWS CloudFormation or Terraform).
