Job Position: Sr. Java Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Sr. Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. The ideal candidate will be a strong coder, an excellent problem solver, and a team leader who can drive development efforts, manage a team, and align technical solutions with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, assign tasks, review code, and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and define technical solutions.
• Provide technical direction and strategic guidance to the development team.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices to improve development efficiency.
• Experience in the marine industry or working on marine-based applications is a plus.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, and Angular (must-have).
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and Cloud Technologies.
• Proficiency in database management (SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git, GitHub, or GitLab).
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, system design, and performance optimization.
• Experience in leading teams, assigning tasks, and mentoring junior developers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to marine industry applications or similar domains is a plus.
