Position Overview
You’ll join an engineering team that manages global infrastructure for a Fortune 500 client of Frontline Managed Services. Your focus: stabilize, upgrade, and expand core network services.
Your first 6 months will involve hands-on implementation and troubleshooting, especially around Palo Alto SD-WAN rollouts and Azure Virtual Network integrations. Over time, you’ll take on design and project ownership roles.
This is a customer-facing position. You’ll work directly with stakeholders across IT and security to plan and execute network changes with zero business disruption.
This position requires candidates work US Business hours - Approx - 7:00PM - 3:330AM IST
CTC Budget - 30 LPA - 38 LPA
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Configure and support Palo Alto SD-WAN edge devices and tunnels
- Help deploy and maintain Azure VNets and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Troubleshoot routing and wireless issues across LAN, WAN, and WiFi networks
- Assist with merger-related network integrations and office buildouts
- Document and transition all designs to operations teams
- Escalation support for complex, high-priority incidents
- Mentor junior engineers and ops teams
What you bring
- 5+ years supporting enterprise LAN, WAN, WiFi, and VPN environments
- 2+ years deploying and troubleshooting Palo Alto SD-WAN
- Experience with Azure networking: VNets, hybrid routing, and peering
- Strong command of routing protocols, wireless diagnostics, and VPN tunneling
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
Nice to have
- Cisco switching experience (Catalyst, Nexus, Meraki)
- Understanding of VoIP QoS and traffic shaping
- Experience with RADIUS or 802.1x implementations
- Familiarity with BC/DR networking: HSRP, redundant circuits, etc.
- Certifications like PCNSE, CCNP, or Azure Network Engineer Associate
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems Management or related field, or combined equivalent of education and experience.
- Hands-on experience designing, configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Fortinet FortiGate firewalls, including implementing security policies, VPNs, and network monitoring tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience supporting Wi-Fi, LAN, WAN, and firewall solutions across diverse platforms, including Palo Alto, Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, Meraki, Fortinet, as well as managing technologies such as SD-WAN.
- 3+ years of experience designing LAN and WAN solutions.
ROLE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing BC/DR plans and solutions that incorporate HSRP, SDWAN, and other switch or circuit redundancy configurations.
- Experience with VoIP, packet prioritization, and other traffic shaping configurations.
- Experience designing, deploying and supporting Palo Alto SD-WAN and some experience with Azure VNET.
- PREFFERED Industry Certifications – Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Palo Alto Networks Certified SD-WAN Specialist, Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
