Overview

Job Title: Python Data Engineer

Job Type: Fulltime

Experience Level: 5- 8 years

Work mode: onsite

Location: Bangalore

Shift: UK shift (1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, or 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM) (first few months)

Job Responsibilities

· Candidate will be responsible for development, testing, maintenance, monitoring and support of critical systems

· Candidate will be responsible for addressing issues and responding to user / business queries

· Should be able to translate requirements into code changes, do impact analysis, following the guidelines on code quality

· Candidate should be able to comfortably trace and investigate faults and errors and be proficient at diagnosing and reproducing issues

· Should have Good written/verbal communication skills, good analytical and problem-solving skills

· Candidate will be responsible for documenting changes and creating release artifacts

· Candidate should be ready to work in India and UK shifts (if needed)

Experience

· 5-8 years of professional experience working in a data centric environment.

· Experienced in building modern data pipelines, including data validation and monitoring.

· Having good understanding of soft engineering processes.

· Strong knowledge of Python and SQL is required.

· Promoter of software engineering best practices, from automated testing to CI/CD

· Familiarity with Docker, cloud computing (Azure) preferred

· It would be desirable to also have worked with a more traditional tech stack, such as C# .NET and a frontend technology (such as Angular)

· Should have experience working in onshore-offshore model

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
