Sr. QA Engineer

Overview

Introduction:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications, particularly in areas such as SaaS/Web App Testing, Online Payment Testing, and HRMS/Payroll Testing. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional products that meet the highest standards of quality and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute manual test cases for web applications,
• Perform detailed functional, regression, and exploratory testing across various application modules.
• Validate online payment flows, refunds, and transaction security.
• Test HRMS-specific modules including payroll, attendance, leave, and compliance.
• Accurately log, track, and verify defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• Manage and verify support tickets/bugs raised by end users, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
• Create and maintain clear test documentation and reports for reference and analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and support teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Assist in setting up initial automation frameworks and identify opportunities for test automation.
• Stay updated with new QA methodologies, tools, and technologies to drive process improvements continuously.

Shift Time: 02:00 PM To 11:00 PM

Preferred Skills and Tools:

• Strong knowledge in manual testing methodologies including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Experience with SaaS/Web App Testing, particularly with multi-tenant platforms like HRMS, CRM, and booking systems.
• Familiarity with Online Payment Testing, including payment gateway flows, refunds, and transaction security.
• Proficient in bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of HRMS/Payroll Testing, compliance checks, and workflow scenarios.
• Ability to handle ticket/support module issues by reproducing, documenting, and verifying problems effectively.
• Basic knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar, with the drive to scale automation efforts.
• Experience with API Testing using tools like Postman or Swagger (nice to have).
• Excellent communication skills for clear reporting, defect documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹720,000.00 per year
