We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer who will help build the core infrastructure powering the Atlys platform. In this role, you will work on scalable backend systems, automate complex workflows, and build reliable APIs that support our mission of expanding global travel access while delivering a seamless user experience.

The Job

• Build scalable backend infrastructure to support expansion across multiple global destinations.
• Automate visa workflows and operational processes to improve speed and efficiency.
• Design and maintain APIs that power the Atlys platform and its integrations.
• Build internal systems and tools that reduce operational complexity and support dependency.
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to ship reliable and scalable systems.

Ideal Candidate

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer at a SaaS or technology company.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Experience designing and maintaining APIs (REST, GraphQL, or similar interfaces).
• Knowledge of data storage systems, including relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching systems (Redis or similar).
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, including microservices and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Experience with test-driven development and collaborative development practices.
