The Opportunity

We are hiring for a Senior Software Engineer- I (Full Stack Developer)

Our product development organization is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, integrate, maintain, and test features for our enterprise software product, Release and Verify. If you are someone who has a passion for developing great software and mentoring more junior engineers to excel in software development, we encourage you to apply. The Release and Verify team focuses on creating and extending our product features and the software development toolset that form the core of our Software Lifecycle and DevOps Integrations products.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.
• Determine operational feasibility by evaluating and analyzing problem definitions, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
• Improve operations by conducting technical analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Lead team members to achieve their best by supporting a culture of mentorship, continual learning, knowledge sharing of best practices, and contributing to the positive discussion and debate of ideas.
• Support customer escalations and resolve production incidents to improve customer success with 24x7 support on rotation through the team.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience with .NET C#, ideally .NET Core, and its idioms and design patterns
• 4+ years of experience with Entity Framework
• 1+ years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MS SQL Server
• 1+ years of experience with React using Typescript, ExtJS is a bonus
• A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams with clear communication
• Experience maintaining and deploying highly available, fault-tolerant systems
• Experience with continuous integration/deployment tooling such as Bitbucket, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar
• Experience working with remote / distributed teams and projects.
