The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps/Python Programmer to join our engineering team. This role is pivotal in supporting the development of next-generation visualization and optimization tools for SCADA and database conversion systems in Digital Grid Management. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in software engineering, DevOps practices, and user-centric design to help us build scalable, intuitive, and high-performance tools that support operational excellence and strategic decision-making.

Your Impact

• Design, develop, and maintain a visualization tool for SCADA/Leitmotif performance and optimization data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to support development and deployment.
• Develop and optimize web-based interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
• Parse and process various data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, text files) for visualization and analysis.
• Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and scalability of applications.
• Create technical documentation, flowcharts, and infographics to support internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improve system reliability, monitoring, and automation.
  
  

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++, C#).
• 5+ years of experience with web-based programming (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Proven experience with data parsing and transformation (XML, JSON, CSV, text files).
• Experience in user interface design and adapting to user feedback.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in technical communication, including flowcharts and visual documentation.
• Experience with SCADA systems or industrial automation platforms.
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries.
• Understanding of performance optimization techniques for large-scale data systems.
