Job Title: Senior Staff Data Engineer
Locations: Bangalore / Pune / Ahmedabad
Reports To: Director, Enterprise Data Analytics
A Quick Snapshot...
As a Senior Staff Data Engineer, you will partner with application developers to determine optimal data representations that support critical business processes. You'll design models that reduce data redundancy, streamline data movement, and enhance enterprise information management. Core responsibilities include analyzing raw data and developing high-quality, efficient datasets.

This position is pivotal in driving Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) initiatives, supporting a transition to a data-driven organization with an enterprise-wide perspective. This role is highly critical in implementing operational procedures within the organisation.
Are you the person we're looking for?
Required Experience. You must have more than 8 years of experience in data engineering and modelling.
Focus. You have strong focus on data science, analytics, and reporting.
Technical Skills. You have good technical, programming and querying skills in Python, SQL and RDBMS.
Database & BI Tools: Expertise in relational databases, dimensional data modeling, and BI best practices.
Data Warehousing: Proven ability to design and build robust data warehouses for internal and client reporting.
Collaboration. You will collaborate and work with cross-functional teams to enhance EDA deliverables and align with business objectives.
Education. Successful completion of a Bachelor of Computer Science, or an Engineering degree is highly preferred
Here's what will give you an edge…
Tools. You are good in using the Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
Leadership skills. You should have prior experience in mentoring 5–10 developers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. You're not just comfortable engaging in collaborative discussions, but initiating them, too. You are skilled at reading and adapting to different communication styles. When you speak you are clear and concise. Your strong listening skills foster connection with our clients and allows you to accurately collect the right information so you can resolve issues in the most expedient way.
Compliance. You have proven ability to track trends, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure data platform compliance.
Deadline. You are highly motivated professional with a track record of managing timelines and communicating deviations effectively.
Self-starter. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.
