Overview
Central Functions support the board as well as the business in achieving its strategic objectives. These are, for example, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Compliance, Finance and many more.
- Develop analytical model to predict/forecast user behaviors to meet business requirements and drive business growth.
- Communicate the results to management via data visualizations, presentations.
- Develop Machine learning, Deep learning and AI algorithm to solve business case or problem.
- Deploy and integrate the model with other applications using python and other related technologies for application development and deployment.
- Create various documentations required as part of implementation.
- Ability to meet the timelines set by the management on the change requests raised.
- Master’s Degree in a technical field like Math, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Operations Research, or Physics
- At least 3 years of experience working within a corporation or consumer-focused environment
- Proven expertise in data science and analytics for key areas such as probability and statistics, time-series analysis, pattern recognition, optimization, and predictive modeling
- Ability to clean and transform messy data in Python
- Ability to extract data from SQL and/or NoSQL databases is required
- Hands-on experience working with cloud services such as MS Azure is required
- Experience with fast prototyping using open source technologies such as R and Python
- Experience in implementing machine learning solutions in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, D3, R-Shiny, Dash, etc.
- Ability to develop, train, evaluate, and present statistical models
- Experience with front-end development for data analytics applications is a plus
- Experience with key software development processes such as testing and version control using git repositories
- Ability to collaborate with data scientists, software developers, business partners and other stakeholders
- Experience with agile methodology and project management is highly desired
