The client is a U.S.-based social commerce marketplace that enables users to buy and sell new or gently used fashion, beauty, and lifestyle products. The platform operates as a community-driven marketplace where individuals create "closets" to list items, follow other users, share listings, and participate in virtual shopping events.

Job Description

• Define and drive the architecture roadmap for scalable, production-grade ML platforms.
• Design and code highly scalable, machine learning applications processing large volumes of data.
• Design end-to-end ML systems covering Data ingestion, Feature engineering pipelines, Model training & validation, Deployment & serving and Monitoring & retraining
• Design and productionize deep learning models including Computer Vision, NLP / LLM-based systems, and Recommender systems
• Design and maintain centralized feature stores where you implement feature versioning, feature lineage & metadata tracking, and data quality validation
  
  
  

A successful Staff Machine Learning Engineer should have:

• Strong background in Machine Learning with deep understanding of algorithms and modeling techniques
• 8+ years of overall software development experience with at least 5+ years of industry experience applying Machine Learning to concrete problems
• Great coding skills and strong software development experience with Big Data technologies & Machine Learning frameworks like SparkML, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras
• Understanding of distributed systems, and large scale engineering challenges is plus.
