Staff QA Engineer(Playwright)

Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Staff Engineer – QA Automation with strong expertise in API and UI test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript, along with strong SQL and CI/CD integration experience.

This role requires strong coding capability, framework-level ownership, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks
• Create, update, and review automated test scripts
• Develop and execute UI and API automation test cases
• Manage and maintain test data effectively
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Work with test management tools and ensure reporting accuracy
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders in Agile sprints
• Ensure version control best practices using Git
  
  

• 6–9 years of experience in QA Automation
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation
• Strong experience in API Testing
• Good knowledge of SQL and database validation
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD tools
• Strong understanding of Git and version control workflows
• Familiarity with Agile and Iterative development methodologies
