Staff Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer with a strong foundation in Next.js, React, JavaScript, and SQL, ready to lead development efforts, mentor engineers, and push boundaries in both performance and design.

Here’s What You’ll Do 

Lead architecture and development for major product features using Next.js and React

• Write robust, scalable code across the frontend and backend
• Optimize and write advanced SQL queries for data-heavy applications
• Set technical standards and best practices for the team
• Mentor engineers and conduct code reviews with a focus on clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate business goals into elegant technical solutions
• Drive cross-functional projects from concept to delivery
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and implement high-impact improvements
• Lead team as and when required

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• 7–9 years of full-time software development experience
• Available to start ASAP
• Strong command of Next.js, React, JavaScript (ES6+), and SQL
• Proven experience in leading projects or owning complex systems from design to production
• Ability to translate business needs into technical architecture
• Solid understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and performance tuning
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Passion for mentoring, learning, and building with quality and empathy
• A track record of shipping well-architected, performant, and user-friendly applications
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, testing frameworks, and code quality automation
