Overview
Job Profile:-
As a Support Software Engineer (Kannada), your primary responsibility will be troubleshooting and resolving errors, and throughout your work, you must constantly log details for later reports and to provide updates. When not fixing issues, you will be contributing to quality audits of core products and improving processes. You will also be responsible for providing technical chat support to our clients.
Typical work week looks like:-
- You will investigate, debug and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds and verify changes to ensure the continued operability of the software solution.
- Extensively working with any database and writing simple queries to get data for debugging issues.
- Demonstrating continuous improvements and increased efficiency to the software or business processes utilizing software engineering tools, innovative techniques, and the reuse of existing solutions.
- Contributing in meeting the SLAs and KPIs as applicable for the account and unit - for example, responsiveness, resolution, software quality, etc.
Our ideal candidate should have:-
- Relevant year of experience as a Software Support Engineer / Product Support Engineer / Software Tester in Tech company
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of programming languages with the ability to debug web application code
- Hands-on experience with:
- Node.js
- JavaScript & TypeScript
- MongoDB (database design, query optimization, and performance tuning)
- Proficient in essential development tools and technologies:
- Jenkins
- Redis (caching and performance improvement)
- Postman
- Ability to run the tests (at least) to reproduce subjected scenarios, understands logs.
- Understanding of Agentic AI concepts and workflows is a plus
- Comfortable in working in rotational 24*7 shifts.
- Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal.
