System Administrator

Overview

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with a strong background in Linux (specifically Ubuntu), network infrastructure, and IT system management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining enterprise IT environments, including LAN/WAN setup, Wi-Fi configuration, software installation, and network troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, especially Ubuntu environments.
• Monitor and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Set up, configure, and maintain Wi-Fi networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Implement and manage network security protocols to safeguard data and infrastructure.
• Perform regular system updates, patch management, and system backups.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot various software applications required for daily operations.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security policies across the network.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Maintain system documentation, including SOPs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for seamless IT support and service delivery.
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience as a System Administrator in a Linux/Ubuntu environment.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, IP routing, firewall management, LAN/WAN, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools, scripting (Bash, Python is a plus), and automation.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and troubleshoot under pressure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
