System Administrator

Overview

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, ensure system security and compliance, and provide operational support across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint and identity management, server infrastructure, networking, and IT operations.

This role requires hands-on experience in managing enterprise environments, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of systems.

Key Responsibilties

Micrososoft 365 Administartion

• Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Manage user accounts, licenses, mail flow, and security policies.
• Monitor service health and resolve issues related to M365 services.

Endpoint & Identity Management

• Manage and administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

• Configure and manage Intune for device compliance and policy enforcement.

• Manage Zoho Endpoint Manager for endpoint security and device control.

• Implement identity governance, MFA, conditional access policies, and RBAC.

IT Operations & Support

• Provide L1/L2 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and end-user issues.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and access-related issues.

• Maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base.

Systems & Server Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux /Windows servers and related services.

• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability.

• Manage patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery processes.

Security & Compliance

• Implement and monitor security controls across infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with organizational security policies.

• Perform vulnerability remediation and basic security hardening.

Networking & VPN Management

• Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments.

• Manage firewall rules, DNS, DHCP, and basic routing.

• Own and manage VPN solutions including user access and security policies.

IT Asset Management

• Maintain inventory of IT assets (hardware and software).

• Track procurement, allocation, and lifecycle management.

• Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 Administration.

• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Intune.

• Knowledge of Zoho Endpoint Manager (or similar endpoint management tools).

• Experience in Windows Server administration.

• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications (Microsoft, Azure, Security, Networking).

• Experience in managing hybrid environments.

• Exposure to security tools and endpoint protection platforms.
