Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in the India Life Insurance market. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in insurance sales, business processes, and AI-driven technology solutions. This role requires an individual who can work independently with both clients and technical teams, driving business requirements, solution design, and implementation strategies for Sales AI Agents in the Life Insurance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Work closely with clients to understand their business challenges and propose AI-driven sales solutions.
Lead requirement-gathering sessions, stakeholder discussions, and business process mapping exercises.
Define and optimize workflows for Sales AI Agents tailored for the Life Insurance industry in India.
Ensure AI solutions align with industry best practices, compliance regulations, and organizational objectives.
Provide domain expertise in India’s Life Insurance sector, covering sales, underwriting, policy administration, and claims processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, developers, and testers, to drive AI solution implementation.
Conduct business process reengineering to improve efficiency and enhance customer experience using AI-driven automation.
Define and validate functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI Sales Agents.
Lead user training sessions, UAT activities, and support go-live activities.
Monitor industry trends and emerging AI technologies to provide strategic recommendations.
Requirements
9+ years of experience in Business Analysis within the India Life Insurance domain.
Strong understanding of insurance sales processes, distribution channels, and customer journey mapping.
Experience working with AI-driven solutions for sales and customer engagement in the Life Insurance sector.
Ability to independently engage with clients, conduct requirement workshops, and present AI-driven solutions effectively.
Hands-on experience in writing business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and user stories.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the Indian insurance industry.
Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
Experience in Agile methodologies is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Life Insurance in India.
Experience in Sales in Life Insurance in India.
Prior experience working with AI-based sales automation solutions.
Knowledge of AI/ML applications in insurance sales and underwriting.
