Technical Business Analyst

Overview

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with deep expertise in enterprise ERP systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving ERP implementations, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives across supply chain, procurement, and distribution functions.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

ERP Systems & Functional Analysis

• Lead functional requirement gathering, gap analysis, and solution design across SAP and JDE ERP platforms.
• Configure, test, and support ERP modules including MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), SCM (Supply Chain Management), and PP (Production Planning).
• Translate complex business processes into clear functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Collaborate with system architects and developers to ensure ERP solutions align with business objectives.

Business Process & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with cross-functional business stakeholders to understand end-to-end processes across procurement, logistics, and supply chain.
• Conduct workshops, process walkthroughs, and documentation sessions with business users.
• Produce high-quality BRDs, FRDs, process maps, and user stories.
• Manage UAT planning, test case creation, and sign-off coordination.

Project Delivery

• Drive end-to-end delivery of ERP projects from initiation through go-live and hypercare.
• Work closely with project managers to track milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Support change management activities including training material development and user adoption strategies.
• Coordinate with vendors, offshore teams, and internal IT for seamless delivery.

Data & Analytics

• Use Python to automate data analysis, reporting, and process validation tasks.
• Perform data mapping, data migration validation, and master data management across ERP systems.
• Develop dashboards and analytical models to support business decision-making.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Mandatory

• 6–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in ERP environments.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and/or JDE (JD Edwards) — implementation, rollout, or support projects.
• Functional expertise in one or more modules: MM, SD, SCM, PP.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, automation, and scripting.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, inventory, order management, logistics.
• Excellent documentation skills — BRD, FRD, process flows, user stories, test cases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry.
• Exposure to GxP, SOX compliance, or regulated ERP environments.
• Familiarity with Agile / SAFe delivery methodologies.
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, etc.).
• An immediate or early joiner is strongly preferred.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,250,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
