Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as Associate Tech BA will be a key liaison between business stakeholders , technology teams, and external partners to gather requirements, document process, support design and implementation of scalable, compliant, and data-driven insights across various financial products including lending, deposits, cash management. The ideal candidate will also need to work on regulatory and technology inventory management requirements.

WM_Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Analytics Intelligence & Data Technology

Analytics, Intelligence and Data Technology (AIDT) enables and drives strategic data initiatives and business capabilities across Wealth Management.

Software Engineering

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What You’ll Do In The Role

• Analyse and document business requirement related to various financial products especially securities based lending, deposits, and cash management.
• Evaluate and define requirements on regulatory and technology inventory management requirements, ensuring alignment with compliance and operational standards.
• Translate complex business needs into detailed documentation and decode the requirements into Jira for development teams
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements and its related process
• Collaborate with stakeholders from cross -functional teams to identify, source and fulfil data requirements.
• Work with development team to build analytics and reporting tools, ensuring data quality and data lineage
• Conduct testing, support go-live and provide post implementation analysis/support
  
  

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• At least 3 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
• Experience in financial services, preferably within an investment bank or financial institution
• Proven experience in business process modelling, data mapping, and system implementation
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, DB2, Tableau, and project management tool e.g. Jira
• Knowledge of Gen AI will be an added advantage
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders across functions
