Job Title: Technical Business Analyst (Java Developer + BA)

Location: Bangalore / Chennai

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Technical Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business analysis and software development. This hybrid role requires a professional who can gather and translate business requirements into actionable user stories while also contributing hands-on to the development of backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis (50%)

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups with development teams.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment.
• Perform gap analysis and impact assessments for new features and changes.
  
  

Development (50%)

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across environments.
• Contribute to API design and implementation.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices and security standards.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Java development with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• 2+ years of experience in business analysis or product ownership.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive user stories and technical documentation.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
