Technical Lead - SW Development & Testing

YOUR TASKS

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join our team responsible for the development and testing of automotive components, including sensors and actuators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics and instrumentation, along with proficiency in programming and various development tools.

Key Responsibilities

Research, design, implement, and manage software programs for automotive components.

Test and evaluate new programs, identifying areas for modification and developing these modifications.

Develop and follow quality assurance procedures to ensure high standards.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, estimate timelines, and design features.

Drive conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure software meets business objectives.

Participate in code reviews, addressing any defects or design issues.

Ensure on-time delivery of product features as per the defined schedule and roadmap.

Perform Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing.

Provide technical guidance to team members.

Required Experience And Skills

Strong knowledge of electronics and instrumentation.

Advanced experience with tools like IBM DOORS and PTC Integrity.

Proficiency in programming with C, C++, Git scripting, and Simulink.

Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Knowledge of hardware design, requirements, and schematics.

Familiarity with Rhapsody and IAR Embedded Workbench.

Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and other automotive protocols.

Proficiency in using debuggers, test equipment like DSO, function generators, and tools like CANalyzer and CANoe.

Ability to develop unit tests for code components or complete applications.

Knowledge of software testing principles.

Experience with TPT and MATLAB-Simulink is an added advantage.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Your Qualifications

• BE /B. Tech/ M.E/ M. Tech in Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Industrial Electronics
• 7- 12 years of experience in Automotive Industry
