Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Backend to lead and guide our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling backend systems, mentoring team members, and ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization.

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead - Backend to lead and guide our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling backend systems, mentoring team members, and ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the backend development team, ensuring delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and front-end teams to define technical solutions.
- Design and implement system architecture, APIs, and data models.
- Review code, enforce best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
- Optimize backend performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Mentor and upskill junior engineers.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and evaluate their adoption.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of backend development experience with expertise in Java, spring Boot, Kotlin, JPA, SQL.
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Proven experience leading teams, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system scalability.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
