Overview
Job DescriptionMain Tasks
- Drive the Design & development of the M+H products, design concepts, developing 2D &3D, Design review and approval.
- Drive the´functional reviews´, identifying Business critical topics and setting Key priorities with governance.
- Manage the process of the Functional Product release of the products within the area of responsibility including all technical documentation (CAD-data, drawings, technical descriptions and presentations, technical specifications, FMEA, design verification plans, product validation plans, test reports, FFAP, etc.) in cooperation with cross functional teams and Stake Holders.
- Driving Capturing Customer Specific requiremnets (CSR), Design Spesific Requirements (DSR)
- Ensure and maintain the technical documentation of the projects in PLM / CIM Database as per Engg Work Flow requiremnets.
- Drive NPI’s as per engineering work flows, manage and drive all supporting process.
- Drive Cost hunting and Cost improvement ideas up to relaization in time and saving.
- Ensure compliance with the technical standards, processes and norms of M+H Group during the project and Communicate with the customers, suppliers and the relevant departments regarding all technical issues
- Demonstrate and maintain strong govenranve on Dept KPIs’ , project reviews status, budget vs actuals through Dashbosrds or supporting data management tool
- Define and manage the necessary internal and external resources for the projects within the product group to ensure efficiency during all project stages
- Responsible for timely communication on all technical open points for both internal and external stake holders.
- Share Best Practices and knowledge within the team
- Manage People development with focus on Technical and Personal Development close to 20% of the time.
- Posses Intercultural Knowledge and strong interpersonal personal skills
- Support Manager in identifying the skill gaps and to create a relevant development plan and coach the team members

Experience
Qualification & Experience:
- BE/ B-tech in the field of Mechanical Engineering
- 12 + years of relevant work experience with min 2 years of sm all team handling experience
is highly prepfered.
Project Management & Performance Management Experience Is Preferred.
- Experience in (automotive or similar) product Design & development processes.
- Willing to work in US shift (2 to 10 PM)
- Know- how in customer processes and standards (APQP,….)
- Knowledge of quality systems and standards (e.g. TS16949 etc…)
- Product know how of M+H products as well as system understanding is an added advantage
- Proficient use of IT-tools (MS Office, CATIA V5, CREO, PLM / CIM DATABASE, SAP, CAD, …)
- English language skills
- Ability to work under pressure
