Technical Lead- Manager

Overview

Ensure successful development using Agile and DevOps methodologies for complex systems and solutions. Lead the entire development lifecycle using the best software engineering practices, including setting coding standards, performing code reviews, and running SCRUMs with expertise in JIRA. Utilize expertise in source control management (Git, Azure DevOps, SourceTree, etc.), and configure continuous integration and continuous delivery systems (Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, etc.). Gain a comprehensive understanding of existing codebases and systems across the various stacks, while developing code as needed to support products and solutions.

Technologies include: Cloud-native IaaS and PaaS (Azure, AWS), Web UI frameworks (React, Angular, etc. using CLI, Grunt, Webpack), API definition (RAML, Swagger, JSON), backend technologies (Node.js, Java), databases (SQL, NoSQL), and integrations (ESB, legacy system integration, etc.). Help architect new applications by evaluating advanced technologies and collaborating with solution architects and product managers.

Oversee all documentation to ensure the development team is efficient and effective, covering technical details, setup information, standards, and environments, etc.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• A minimum of 9 years of professional experience in leading enterprise level software development using agile scrum.
• Deep understanding of Full Stack development, including modern UI and backend coding fundamentals (JavaScript core best practices, object-oriented design, data structures, API design, complex problem solving, etc.).
• Proficiency with at least one modern JavaScript framework (ReactJs, Angular2/4 etc.) and backend / API RESTful service (Node.js, Java w/ SpringMVC, etc.), Cloud native solutions using Azure and AWS, DevOps tooling platforms (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, or similar).
• Ability to engage, mentor and lead technical teams (on/offshore) including a variety of technical developers.
