Role Overview:

As an AWS Cloud Solutions Architect & Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for leading cloud solution design, technical client discussions, migration planning and execution, post-deployment monitoring, and working closely on commercial aspects like quotation preparation. This role requires both deep technical expertise and client-facing communication skills.

Requirements:

• Lead client discussions to gather and understand cloud requirements, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Conduct detailed assessments of client on-premises infrastructure (compute, storage, networking) and document findings.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS architecture diagrams based on assessment reports.
• Prepare detailed solution proposals and commercial quotations for AWS migration and managed services.
• Provide migration planning from on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud, including sizing and cost estimation.
• Hands-on implementation of AWS services, security best practices, and infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
• Set up and manage monitoring, alerting, and cost optimization tools (CloudWatch, AWS Config, Trusted Advisor, Cost Explorer).
• Coordinate and lead migration activities including discovery, design, migration execution, and cutover.
• Build and document standard operating procedures and reusable migration frameworks.
• Ensure smooth delivery in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
• Stay current with AWS updates and industry best practices, proactively suggesting improvements for clients.

Technical Skills Required:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in cloud and infrastructure solutions, with 4+ years specifically in AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, EKS, and ECS.
• Experience in on-prem to AWS migration projects (Re-host, Re-platform, Re-factor).
• Ability to assess and document on-premises infrastructure and map it to AWS equivalent services.
• Deep understanding of AWS networking, security, and compliance best practices.
• Experience with monitoring tools and cost management in AWS.
• Strong command over architecture diagram creation using tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, or AWS Architecture Diagram Tool.
• Experience in preparing detailed quotations and proposal documentation for AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in handling AWS Well-Architected Framework reviews is a plus.

Preferred Certifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or at least Associate level).
• AWS Certified Migration Specialist (preferred).
