 Wednesday to Sunday: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM

 Monday: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

 Tuesday: Weekly off

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Tech Lead / Team Lead with 5+ years of experience to join our engineering team. As a key member, you’ll lead a talented group of developers, architect solutions using modern technologies like Node.js, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, and ensure the success of our platform. You’ll be responsible for building robust back-end services, working on a microservices architecture, and collaborating with front-end developers using React. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for technology, and the ability to drive innovation in an EdTech startup.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a growing team of developers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

 Backend Development: Architect and develop high-performance web applications using Node.js and NestJS.

 Database Management: Design and optimize data models using PostgreSQL and MySQL for scalability and performance.
 Microservices Architecture: Lead the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance microservices (preferred experience).
 Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers (working with React) to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
 Quality & Performance: Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and following best practices.
 Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with quick, efficient solutions.
 Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the platform innovative.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Experience: 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership/mentoring role.

 Core Technologies:

o Node.js and NestJS (mandatory)

o PostgreSQL and MySQL (mandatory)

 Preferred Skills:

o Experience in Microservices Architecture.

o Front-end experience with React.

 Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, make technical decisions, and communicate effectively.

 Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

 Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
