Technical Project Manager

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player will handle all the resources and coordination from a technical standpoint. You must set and achieve objectives, ensure both top quality and control of the project, handle client and vendor interaction, and act as the subject expert. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering Teams: Manage cross-functional tech teams across AI/ML projects, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Own Agile Execution: Define project goals, manage sprint cycles, and track deliverables using tools like Jira or GitHub Projects.
• Coordinate Multiple Projects: Oversee the full lifecycle of AI/LLM initiatives, from model development to cloud integration and product rollout.
• Bridge Tech and Business: Translate complex AI requirements into clear action plans, collaborating with researchers, developers, and business leads.
• Ensure Engineering Quality: Uphold high standards in testing, versioning, CI/CD pipelines, and model performance.
• Resource & Budget Oversight: Allocate resources effectively, manage project budgets, and optimize cloud and engineering team usage.
• Mitigate Risks: Proactively identify bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies to stay on schedule.
• Track KPIs: Monitor sprint velocity, release cycles, issue resolution times, and user satisfaction metrics.
• Drive Process Improvement: Run retrospectives, encourage team feedback, and continually refine engineering workflows.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• 5+ years in project management
• 2+ years managing AI/ML or engineering teams
• Technical Know-how:
• Understanding of LLMs or AI/ML development cycles
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)
• Tools: Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitHub Projects, or similar platforms.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Preferred Certifications: PMP, CSM, or certifications in cloud/AI project management.
